Sadds Wharf

The site, formerly a storage yard where timber was loaded and unloaded from river barges, consequently stands on the flood plane.

The design solution is to raise the site level, creating car parking below and lifting the ground floor accommodation above the flood level. This provides river walkways for the public at the current site level and creates raised private courtyards to the proposed development.
